Chiropractic & Dolphin players...

Our athletes will benefit more from physical therapists with manual experience/certifications than a chiropractor. IMO.

I have adjusted a few professional athletes in my 7 years of practice. This summer, a pitcher for a MLB team in spring training was having major shoulder issues in which he was contemplating surgery. Through my playing experience (baseball) , I was able to detect the imbalance in his shoulder and correct it. He resumed pitching that next week without the pain. Of course he was still getting his 3 hours a day therapy from the team trainers which he had been receiving for the last 9 months. I also treat professional motorcross/supercross riders. Most people who are educated understand the scientific principles of chiropractic, nerve interference and joint dysfunction. Studies have shown that athletes who receive regular chiropractic care have a 10% increase in performance.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Good post. People would be suprised how many top athletes endorse chiropractic.

In this particular case, yes.... I am looking for a job

I have been a sports chiropractor, adjusting spines and especially extremities in many athletes at all levels (a few pros) for over 10 years, and have a great chiropractic and massage practice in Delray. I desperately tried to get to work with Derek Lee's subluxated shoulder (looks good now) a while back and more recently sent an e-mail to the Heat about Dwayne Wade, who I'm sure would've benefitted from some care in a big way last week.Anybody know who to call to offer my services for the upcoming Dolphin season?

Why chiropractic for football players? When joints don't function correctly the muscles and ligaments attached to them lose strength, speed, and elasticity. The effect are far worse when there are major control nerves carried through the joints, such as in the complex and amazing spine.

There are major differences in techniques and skilll levels between different chiros. My patients seem to prefer my way but it also happens to fit my body style so somebody else's technique may be great for that doctor and that patient. The point is the body works better when the nerves are free and the joints flow properly

Feel free to PM me to talk chiropractic and/or Dolphins-and better yet,if anybody could help my quest to be the team chiropractor for the Fins...
now THAT would make my year......
