Any thoughts, or speculation, that Robbie Chosen has lost a step, and can no longer be viewed as a deep-threat weapon in the NFL can be put to rest.

In the two Miami Dolphins OTA sessions the media attended, the seven-year veteran formerly known as Robbie Anderson before a name change this summer, consistently got behind whoever was defending him. - via https://www.si.com/nfl/dolphins/news/miami-dolphins-second-ota-practice-omar-kelly-five-observations

I have been high on this signing and everyone who's hated on him for no reason can kick rocks! Our WR core is other worldly!!!!

No reason?

I don't think there is a question of talent, though I would point out our best DBs were not on display defending him.

TBH, I think maybe too much has been made of the "head case" narrative. He certainly comes at a good price, and if he returns to form is a dangerous #3 or #4 wideout.

It would make Wilson very expendable, to the point it would make sense to eat some of his salary, maybe even get a mid round pick in return.

Let's face it, if Chosin Reservoir is up to it, and EZ shows anything at all, we have more WRs than we can roster at this point. Hell, the staff seems to love Edwards as well.

Bottom line, good problem to have.

Even after Tua has shown the ability to play football at a high level , Omar still finding ways to slight
the man in a article about Anderson.

What is the big knock on him? I honestly don't know the details.
His history. If so talented why are teams moving on from him?

Anderson signed an extension with Carolina the following August that extended through the 2023 season. But he wore out his welcome in Charlotte, and the Panthers traded him to the Cardinals after a heated on-field argument with wide receivers coach Joe Dailey prompted then-coach Steve Wilks to kick Anderson out of the game.

Anderson finished the season in Arizona but was on the move again after the Cardinals cut him in March 2023

Not saying this will happen to Chosen but Dolphins seem to annually have a WR that “balls out” in OTAs but disappears once pads come on.

Wonder if this says more about our WR depth or lack of CB depth?

Meh......

It happens. I would be more concerned if there were "legal issues", off the field bad judgement, drunken brawls, etc.

Who is Edwards? I have Hill. Waddle, Wilson, Berrios, Anderson, Ezukanma, Sanders, Swain, Cracraft, Davis and Coleman at the wr position.

I really didn't pay all that much attention to him when he was signed but started to think about him after hearing some OTA reports I decided to look at him or review some of his past work and was pleasantly surprised at how good he actually is, as far as I can see he is a small tier below Hill and Waddle and more than likely a Tier and a half or more above any other Dolphin receiver, Speed-check Smarts-check Home run hitter - check able to beat most DB"S one on one-check Great zone receiver-check, he just checks all the right boxes for a receiver, oh I forgot to mention his height he is 6'3 and should be a decent fade away in end zone (although I haven't seen it). What I really like about him is taking 2 defenders deep given Hill and Waddle the middle surrounded by less......serious WR3, I doubt there is a CB in the league who could handle him one on one, now we have 3.

I think Anderson and Berrios morphed into one player would fit right in with Hill and Waddle. Berrios brings the ability to work underneath and get seperation on the quick shorter routes, While Anderson is a legit down field threat. I think a corp of Hill, Waddle, Berrios, Anderson, Wilson and Ezukanma would be deep, balanced and well rounded. I think the others Sanders, Cracraft, Swain, Davis and Coleman are fighting for 1 or 2 ps spots. Of course one roster spot could come open if Wilson is eventually traded too.
