I'll give him credit. He worked his tail off and made a good career for himself and from where he came from, undrafted, thats something to be proud of. If the Jets had more players like him throughout their history then...well maybe they wouldnt be the jets. But good news for us..they are still a crumby franchise.
 
One of my favorite Jet players.

He was a stand up guy. Played hard. Was totally clutch on 3rd down.

Will be sad to see him go.

Very good player

But I remember one game vs the jets they were showing the WR's heights and I believe it was him who said he was 5'12

I never laughed so much in my life, overall though he was a very good player, always seemed to make big catches
 
As a Bills fan, I hated Chrebet ... always making those #@! clutch catches late in the game!!!

I wish him luck in whatever he does in the future. He was a good player and a classy guy and an inspiration for all the kids who go to small colleges and have big dreams.
 
I hated him because he was so clutch but I always respected him. Glad he's gone though. :lol:

j/k....probably my favorite Jet if I had to choose...great WR and a class act!
 
Chrebet was always a clutch player and I have much respect for him. He was well liked and I wish him the best.
 
I always hated Chrebet as a Jets player. But I loved him as a player, period. Good luck, man.
 
A clutch player, who unfortunately, always seemed to make his big plays against Miami. I guess he was to the Jets in the late 90's/early 200s what OG was to the fins.
 
One of the very few times I enjoyed watching the jets win was against Tampa Bay right after they traded Keyshawn to them. KJ said he was the star in NY and Chrebet was just a flashlight compared to him.

Chrebet caught 2 passes(32yrds) the last one was a TD pass from Martin giving the jets the lead. They went on to bet the bucs and serve KJ a little humble pie, who caught one pass for 1 yard.

Anyways just my little flash-back for chrebet. He is a class guy and wish him luck.
