Berman just said on ESPN that he's picking the Bills to beat the Dolphins. what a homer. then again he also picked Vinny and the Jets to edge the Bucs, dude's gotta be smoking something.
 
Chris Berman likes the Bills. Big surprise. He only has been a Bill fan THE ENTIRE TIME HE WAS ON ESPN!! It is not anything new. Has he ever picked Miami to beat the Bills? Are people going to complain about it every freaking time?

In all fairness, the bookies are picking them too. I think we will win though.
 
i wouldn't be so surprised to see the jets beat the bucs. 1) vinny plays well against cover 2 defenses, 2) they're going to open it up and play out of the shotgun a lot, virtually eliminating the passrush, 3) mike heimerdinger destroyed the bucs when he was o-cooridinator for tennessee, 4) jets have a good defense, and cadillac isn't a sure-thing to play, and 5) the jets are at home

the bills are favored by 2.5, which basically means miami is favored. so in reality the bookies expect miami to win

Not exactly. Maybe on a "neutral field." But they expect Buffalo to win.

?????????? Look, I understsand the whole home field 3 points thing, but to say the bills are favored by 2.5, but they expect miami to win makes no sense whatsoever.....I believe your point is that if they were playing on a neutral field, the PHINS would be favored by .5 right???
 
Newsflash: Buffalo is favored. In fact, the money has been coming in on Bufffalo. The game opened Sunday night at -2.5 and is now -3 almost without exception. Posters on this board have some type of weird idea we're clearly the superior team and are supposed to win big.

A three point favorite is slightly less than 5/8 man to man. Basically, on average you should have roughly 59 out of every 100 fans picking Buffalo to win. Berman is among the 59%.
