Brooks made the 53 he was never on the practice squad, Ahmed ran good for us before he was dinged up.

If you're just talking waivers, yes. I doubt you can get much in a trade coming off IR.

Not sure the cap benefit for either, and don't care enough to look it up.

Brooks isn’t on the practice squad. He made the final roster so he isn’t in jeopardy of being poached off the practice squad at this time.

We just have to wait and see what happens with the running backs once Wilson is healthy and comes off IR. Mostert and Achane are definitely going to remain on the roster if Wilson is activated. So if they decide to just go with 4 RB’s and Wilson is one of those 4 RB’s, they will have to decide between Ahmed and Brooks if they decide to waive one of them in hopes of signing him to the PS if he clears waivers.
 
After a few stuffed runs, or short gainers, I was very glad to see him get to bust a big one too!

He def got some valuable experience. Perhaps we see more of him

I agree with this. When Ahmed hits the hole he is gone. it will take Brooks a while to get there. Wilson, not sure what we have with him.... its been awhile.

People are forgetting how good Wilson can be. He does have ball security issues at times though. Im looking forward to him getting some playing time. I suspect Achane causes Ahmed to lose touches. Wilson will get the ball - even if to spell Mostert at times

He looks special. He hits that hole so fast while being shifty at the same time. I don’t think that was a fluke. I believe we’ve got a star on the rise here

On one of those he definitely made a bad decision on which way to cut (I thought he was about to get a long TD run). But any back will do that on occasion. With more reps I get the feeling he’ll improve. Rookie. Let him get runs.
