Looking at the 2005 Afc recieving yard leaders these are the top 10.

Well, they take only four receivers from each conference, so it might be hard for him to get in. Plus, it may be too late in the season for him to get the votes he would need to get in. If he would have had this 238 yard game early in the season, he would have a better shot.

Also, anybody know when they announce the roster? Should be any week now.
 
i think there has already been a thread like this but oh well. I think he will finish out strong, but the pro bowl is a popularity contest, and unfortunatley not real lot of people know who chambers is. He's not shown on tv really at all. Part of the reason is because he isn't a elite receiver, hopefully he's on his way, and another reason is that he doesn't run his mouth and bring attention to himself like some primdonna receivers do.
 
It's a popularity contest. Ward, Moss, Harrison and Johnson will probably get in. Chambers would have to start off the season strong and keep it up each week to get enough votes.
 
I hope he goes. I would love to see a Miami Dolphin player from the offense go to the pro bowl.

remember Gates is a tight end

i believe they announce the pro bowl rosters after week 16
 
He needs at least one more big game with multiple TD's in it. If he does that next week he will have a great chance of getting in, Gates is a TE, Chambers got some good pub today before MNF and he will probably have more yards than Harrison and more TD's than Reggie Wayne.
 
If he does it will be kind of funny, because I think we can all agree this has not been his best season (which still remains his rookie year) and although he did have that great game, even us miami fans don't think he is ready for pro bowl (I don't think he is, he needs to consistently be good before that)

yeah, i just did that just to show you don't even need to bother copying and pasting it, becuase it's right on the front page on the site in plain view, where as some things it's important to link becuase it could be hard to find.

I didnt realize it was on the front of the site because I didnt really notice, besides another thread cant do anything but help his chances anyway
