You know I have been thinking alot about this. I have been bashing Chambers alot recently. BUt I have thought alot.

He makes alot of amazing catches. But then other times he misses them between the 8 and the 4.

Do any of you think it's possible he needs to get his eyes examined? I am not making a joke.

I mean he seems to be missing them but they aren't hitting his hands. They seems to be hitting somewhere else off his body or lower arm.

He might be having a hard time locating the ball.

This might explain some of his amazing catches too. I have felt that he makes alot of his catches more dramatic then they need to be ie... his 3 yard TD on Sunday.

Honestly, do you think that maybe he might need contacts and that is part of the problem?

1) He doesn't need his eyes examined... he needs to concentrate more.

2) The 1st TD catch against the Pats was not over dramatic at all... actually I was proud of him for being agressive and going up after the ball.

I think Chambers will be fine once he gets complete focus on the game.

I actually thought of this too but I realy doubt it. I think its just more a concentration thing.

My 1000th post. :D

I thought that catch was everthing that we have complained about him not doing in the past as far as fighting for the ball. Of course he went on to have the drops.....

In his press conference after the pats game, he said how he has a hard time catching it with his body. He admitted, he wasn't much of a body catcher.

in the video Kast put up for us his eyes did not follow the ball into his hands.

That's my point.

Maybe he isn't following it because he can't fully see it.

I mean Boston was dropping passes left and right. Then our coaches have change his contacts and all of a sudden he catches everything in practice.

I know he has concentration issues but very seldom does he turn before catching he normally is looking in the general area of the ball all the way.

I am just curious. This might be an issue. His eyes might have depth perception problems.

I had the same problem in Baseball. I was making the catches but everytime my coach noticed I seemed to stab at the ball at the last second. Plus I was always swinging too early.

I could read perfect I could see great. But my coach had me get my vision checked and sure enough it was a depth perception issues with my eyes. I got contacts and didn't have that problem again.

That's another problem

WR coaches tell you not to catch the ball with your body. It bounces off. They always tell you to catch the ball with your hands.

If this is true then the WR coach needs to be looked at.

What he said was that he needs to just trust his hand and not try to catch the ball with his body. Thats not verbatum but the impression was that he knew he shouldent be trying to catch the ball with his body.

about the over dramatic 3 yd td. it was only over dramatic because CC assumed Samual or whom ever was covering him would go up with him, but he didn't even leave his feet.

So you had 20\20 vision but bad depth perception?

I think you should bring this up with Chambers at the next opportuniity. Seriously, find out if he's going to be at some event or an autograph signing for charity, and when you approach him just say, "Chris, I don't mean to be insulting or anything, but you should consider that your problems might be solved by having your eyes examined."

Who knows, you might be doing the team and the whole Dolphin nation a tremendous favor by taking the lead on this. You could be a hero.
