I know many of you are high on him, but what was he doing on that long Cotchery play. He looked lost and also like he was not trying to run. On other plays i thought he played well, but was anyone else bothered by the way he played on that one play? Any ways go dolphins and thank god Ginn is finally returning kicks. When Cobbs was returning kicks i knew he was not going anywhere, but with Ginn i think hes returning it every time.

If you look at that replay it looks like he stopped running, but instead he did an extremely smart thing that shows very high football IQ. Clemons first made Cotchery cut back inside to where Davis and Smith were and Clemons stayed back in case Cotchery cut it back the other way, basically covering the other half. It was a really really smart play by Clemons after the long gain, not letting his emotions run through him and try to just run down the ballcarrier.

Smart response brother. We actually got burned on another play just like that I think it was Vontae Davis that got burned and made that same mistake you pointed out that Clemons "could have made".

Your reaction was my initial reaction, but on the reply I saw what he was doing. The lack of aggressiveness still kinda bothers me, but better safe than sorry.

Yeah, I remember that play. The Camera angle made it look like he was just giving up ground. But, dude, weren't you at least a little bit stoked to see him getting some PT. I noticed #30 on the very first play, and thought he did a good job overall. I'm loving how Sparano is unafraid to substitute players, even though it makes me nervous when we're on a roll and up pops Pat White.

Oh yeah i love him getting time hes awesome. Just that one play bothered me, but now that it was explained i realize it was a great play on clemons part. He looked impressive as well as starks and solai

omg that kills me when i see that, they do it at crazy times

all of the rookies are playing.this is BIG TIME.we will get beat up some.thats just the way it goes.long term its just great.

if pat white was smart he could of thrown against the 12 man defense and went for a td =( he didn't notice it though

Love how the Rookie's are playing. Sean should have had a 98 Int Return for a TD. On the final pass it was Smith & clemons on coverage and Davis is just becoming one of my favorites on defense. The kid is such a hard hitter and I love how he contributes on run support. The INT on the 2 pt convertion was awesome, especially with how high he got.

Kid is proving he is nothing like his older brother.

If we are talking about the same play, had Vontae not left his feet and tried to make a pick on a ball that he had no shot for and just played his man, that long play to CROTCHery would have never happened.

From what I saw, it looked like he was "herding" Cotchery inside to the awaiting arms of tacklers. If so, very smart move.

Yeah this draft has me so excited for our young secondary for the future.

I feel like we can have a shutdown secondary in the upcoming years

If that pass was just an few inches inside then Vontae knocks it down. It was a real good pass by Sanchez.
