Only watched the first half(before sinking into a horrific depression and grabbing my bottle of whiskey) but Clemons did seem solid.

He might not be the ball hawk or play maker to be that Jones is, but i will take a solid safety in today's NFL over someone who blows assignments(not saying Jones does).

I like Clemons regardless of what he did tonight. But lets be fair, he killed Wilson going against a 3rd string OL. Any starter would have blown through that and lit the QB up.

That tackle was sick regardless if he were going up against a 3rd string or a high school team. The way the QB got up and hearing the crowd react to the QB stagger was something you just don't see everyday.

I can already tell he's WAY more confident this season. Starter or not he'll get a lot of playing time this year.

yeah he was a beast out there tonite i watched the game and he is a very hard hitting safety

It's not all Clemons' fault, but we need a ball hawk in the secondary. Matt Ryan showed you just what good QB's think about this secondary, which is that you don't have to worry about throwing into coverage because we have nobody who turns coverage into picks. When it comes down to it, it doesn't even matter all that much that he is in position when neither he nor anyone else back there does a darn thing even when they are.
