Chris Grier and Brian Flores Press Conference

It's clear Grier is saying Flo has a plan and i'm going to go out and get him the information (scouting, medical reports etc) and essentially get him the pieces he needs to build the team he wants.

I don't get this hate for Grier and this though process that he's going to selected who he wants and could careless for the coaches preference.

When selections are made in the FA period/Draft you better believe 99% it's because coach Flo wants that player...period!
 
I wonder if X Howard might now be on the trading block? Obviously, a lot depends on the information that comes out. That could definitely have an impact on the draft.

Interesting comments on free agency. Sounds like smart decisions will be made. Maybe that means not going after big contracts, but who knows. With that kind of money, I'd think a couple of big signings are in store, but would have to be the right kind of players.

Flores will be heavily involved as it should be. It sounds like these guys work well together.

I think the most important guy wont break the bank compared to what the position could give. Thuney is likely around 8-9 million a year, if so sign me up I dont see that as a crazy amount for a G considering Martin got 14 per year and Sherif wants to get more than him with an injury history good luck with whoever signs him.

I believe Flo having a background in scouting/evaluation gives him an important advantage over young HCs that have never worked that end of an organization.

Grier must be ecstatic to have coaches knowledge to lean on.
