I'm all about bringing this guy in. I know he's a trouble maker, but he's got the potential to be one of the most dangerous receivers in the game.

A 6-4 slot receiver who has already excelled in the league is invaluable.

I know he's got serious off-field issues, but c'mon.

Marvin Lewis isn't exactly great at controlling his players. And that organization isn't exactly the right place for a troubled kid to become a man.

I say we let Coach Sparano try to make him a man.

It would help the development of Ted Ginn tremendously if safeties have to worry about that dude too.

So then what do we do when he gets arrested again and suspended for a year?

im all for it... i dont wanna hear this guy is cancer or that guy is cancer... if we can turn him around why not.. .we have a need at this position bess and foster are way too unexperienced to be a sure hit.. i think if we can get him suspension free he will be a sure hit.

Yea man I agree lets bring him in and give him a shot!

Is he going to be suspended for his latest arrest? I'm almost sure he is, and last time he was out half a season.

Incredible talent, but sad to say he is not worth it.

man...I didnt expect ANOTHER player thread us getting a player(that were not going to get) to start this long after....I'll give you some credit for the patients:up:.....

this guy is more then a slot reciever but he has a peanut for a brain. He is a waste of talent. I wouldn't mind him here but he is a definite nutcase so may answer would be no.

He has loads of talent...but he's another arrest and a year-long suspension waiting to happen. Pass.

Im expecting him to get suspended, and if/when he does, it surely will not be for 8 weeks, itll be a whole season...

A judge called him, "a 1 man crime wave" for god sakes... yeah, lets go sign him up.

Have our in-house counsel prepare accordingly for that exact hypothetical when we draw up his contract.

They can draw anything up in a contract, but it wont make a difference what they put in a contract if he gets arrested again because the outcome would be the same with or without stipulations in the contract, he wouldnt be on the field... Way too much of a risk IMO, and I dont think he'll even be reinstated

So, essentially what you're saying is there's no difference between signing him with contract stipulations and not signing him at all. Either way we go, we are protected and the only negative is not having him on the field.

If you do a cost/benefit analysis, it looks something like this.

Sign Him
Positives - Exceptionally talented WR potentially playing for the Dolphins
Negatives - Not on the field.

Don't Sign Him
Positives - None
Negatives - Not on the field.

I don't know. It looks like there's actually no risk signing this dude.
