Has Hope been mentioned as a potential pickup for us in the secondary? He had a ton of tackles, played quite well. In fact, I think his coverage skills are largely responsible for allowing Polamalu to roam the field like he did.

Anyway, young, productive player who started on a superbowl team. What do you guys think? Too expensive? Product of a system devoid of actual skill?
 
I think he would be a great pick up, but i didnt know he was a F/A
 
Last I remember reading, the Steelers were letting him go and test the market.
 
i really like that guy...i almost forgot he was a free agent...and he should be cheap....
 
yeah hes a very under rated great run stoppin safty im not sure if we would go after him since we need a really good cover safty, he may not be good enuf in coverage
 
i would love to pick him up or his team mate deshea townsend...they would really help the secondary

definitely wont be cheap. he has said he wants around 3-4 million a year, dont know what kind of bonus he wants though. also wouldnt mind having marquand manuel from seattle. he shouldnt be that expensive and would be a good free safety for us imo.
 
No one has mentioned that Hope is a BIG hitter and that he actually had more INTs than Palumalu (sp)....Would love to get him...be he won't be cheap.
 
Didn't Hope put Gordon out for the season the year Ricky retired?
