This would be a nice pick-up.

Awesome I would say.

Steelers signed Ryan Clark today. Probably was a depth move, but with how Clark played last year IMO they were expecting Hope to bolt.

ive wanted hope all along...i would love this signing

Oh yeah let the secondary FA's come on in now. I wonder if Beasley or the guy I think we really need: Tom Ashworth signs right now.

I really hope we get him. Is there any news on Sam Adams or Tom Ashworth?

This would be huge he's young talented but probally wouldnt come cheap

this would a great signing. 25 years old, can hit, and play the pass. would be a huge addition to the secondary in my opinion.

1. Chris Hope, FS, Pittsburgh

Key StatsGP: 16Tackles: 96Sacks: 0Int: 3TDs: 0FF: 1Judge: He's only 25 and he started on the Super Bowl champions. He has good range and was a solid complement to Troy Polamalu.2. Adam Archuleta, SS, St. Louis
235191-1.jpg
Key StatsGP: 14Tackles: 70Sacks: 3.5Int: 1TDs: 1FF: 0Judge: A big hitter who's at his best when he's defending the run. He's not as strong in pass coverage and has back issues that will need to be examined.3. Tank Williams, SS, Tennessee
302236-1.jpg
Key StatsGP: 16Tackles: 78Sacks: 0Int: 1TDs: 0FF: 0Judge: A consistent strong safety who can play the run and the pass. He's a better run defender, though he's effective in coverage through sheer intimidation.

he's ranked #1 safety on cbssportsline.com

ashworth woudl be a backup and has health problems as well of NO room for getting better. he has no upside and is more of a RT

that is why IMO, if we sign him, we move Carey to Guard and Hadnot to C, unless Benji Olsen gets released.

I like hope but can he play SS. I really think Schulters will be back, but damn Schulters at FS and Hope at SS. That would be SWEEEET!!!
