Chris Long at NFL combine (live)

I'm watching the NFL combine and they have the D-line men working out, i was watching Chris Long going through some drills (and ive watched his college games, he beat down the U) but this kids sick, he truly is really gifted...

Long is the real deal
 
Gholston's 40 time looked to be a little faster than Long's, but Long looked much more fluid in the Linebacker drills. He really showed some athleticism in his workouts.
 
Anyone notice he was visibly frustrated when he couldn't out-do his first attempt numbers? I like that alot. It seems like the majority are content with whatever they put up but Chris was pushing himself to get better. I think that drive and the fact I think he looked alot smoother than Gholston in the LB drill will push Chris a little higher on draft boards.

Oh, I definately caught that. Chris put up some outstanding numbers, but always walked away as if he could've done a hell of a lot better. He was so, so smooth in that LB drill.
 
Long has much better body control than Gholston. That is huge especially when one takes into consideration that both would be playing in space as 3-4 outside backers in Miami.
