Chris Long Interview

ya came in at 272 and 6'3. thats small for 3-4 DE. dono if he iwll be drafted for OLB then or not. we dont have room for OLb as we have porter and JT. we need ILB and D line. WE have to find out if Wright can play OLB or Moses so if they can't we can get ready to addrses that as well as JT and PORTER are gettin up in age but porter should have 2-3 yrs at a good level left in him.
 
Yes, I am all for Chris Long with the first pick. The perfect scenario in my eyes is to trade with Atlanta and still grab Chris Long.

He said he would be willing to play OLB in the 3-4 but i think he is a DE in the 3-4 and a DE in the 4-3 he played in the 3-4 and he was a DE so i think he could do it in the NFL to just let him Play against the RTs they usally arnt as tough as the LTs
 
He's gonna be something special! God, I hope we draft him. How cool would it be to see this guy on Draft Day wearing a Miami Dolphins cap and holding up a Miami Dolphins jersey? A man-beast on the field and a high class, high character man off of the field. HOORAY CHRIS LONG!
 
I seen his interview , and hes a real high charcter individual and had 14 sacks this year , I won't be surprised if he's defensive of player of the year
 
I watched it on nfl network. He said he hadn't played olb or end in a 3-4 but would be willing to learn. Aint worth 30mill guaranteed for a guy that needs on the job training. Jake Long, anchor our OL for years to come.

I agree 100% with this statement. Chris Long is a beast, no doubt, but not the BPA for us. Joe Thomas started all 16 games for the Browns last year and Jake Long beat him out for best Big 10 O-Lineman. Jake just didnt come out last year like Joe did. We need Jake Long to anchor this o-line for the future.
 
i'm for the other long, until we sure up that offensive line we won't be scoring enough points no matter how good our defense is

He said he played base end(LDE) in a 3-4 but that either 3-4 OLB or 4-3 DE would be a new postion.

I am long on both Longs....I think they both will be great players for many years. I had not seen that much of Jake Long but he is huge and just bowls people over. I think we probably need a little more help on defense right now, so I think Chris Long will likely be our pick over Jake. I think we can get a very good LT in Chris Williams, at the #32 pick. :woot:

and one main reason is chris long is very very smart and has great instincts.
