One of the biggest unsolved mysteries from the 2014 season centered around Chris McCain's disappearance after his impressive debut with the Miami Dolphins.McCain, an updrafted linebacker from the University of California, flashed playmaking ability in Miami's 33-20 season opening win over the New England Patriots when he blocked a punt and produced an important sack as a situational pass rusher.
McCain was one of Miami's top performers in training camp, which explains how he made the 53-man roster, and his first game hinted that more was to come.

But it never did. McCain played sparingly in the final 15 games despite Miami's struggles at linebacker last season, and he openly blames his lack on involvement on himself.
"I was really struggling with the playbook coming from the Pac 12, where there are a lot of spread schemes. We were running a 3-4 so I didn't have too much responsibilities, so I thought it was going to be easy like it was in college,"

speculating on pure hype, most underrated LB unit in the league?

So he waits until a month before training camp to try to add weight? Why in the hell wasn't he doing this months ago for crying out loud?!

I hope he adds enough weight.I expect him to say no less and I hope he realy believes it confidence is a great thing.

Talk is cheap.

It takes money to buy

Can't wait for people to overreact to him saying this and saying he just needs to shut up.

I hope he does well.

One really does have to question his timeline. How does he play so well the first game, not play again basically all year, and then enter the following year as the presumed starter right off the bat?

I think the kid will succeed, im really questioning the coaching staffs thinking on this one more than anything.

You clearly didn't read the story.

We'll see what happens in training camp. I've heard Kelvin Sheppard has done really well playing as the MLB in OTAs which would mean Misi goes back to the SLB spot. I've heard Misi at MLB with Paysinger at SLB and of course Misi as MLB with McCain at SLB. I think the only linebacker spot that's settled is Jenkins as WLB. When the pads come on things should get interesting.

Ummm.....

Are you referring to the same coaching staff that see ALL the players in every single practice,

Tape every single practice and game...

then GRADE every player on every single play of every single practice and game? :ponder: :chuckle:
