48-72 hours before camp starts and 48-72 hours after camp has started is the crucial time for your draft picks to sign, if nothing happens till then, it could be a long time till something is done, so we are over 72 hours after camp now and ronnie still hasn´t signed yet, should we get worried now

thoughts ?
 
I think ronnie brown might not be signed until mid-late august if he wants $22M guarneteed.

That goes out the window when your camp starts a week before others.
 
saban & Co. went out and got one of the best GM's in the business: Mueller. Let's just let him worry about what's best for the organization.
 
why ? alex smith is signed for almost 3 days now and we got all the picks signed just before TC started, if ronnie is not signed by friday or saturday, i smell trouble
 
who cares if ronnie wants to hold out let him i am 100% confident in ricky so its ronnies bad if he holds out it will just stall his career

if ronnie holds out, what are we going to do at running back for the first four games? and dont say gordon cause we dont know what he can produce.
 
If we do not sign Ronnie and he holds out for the season do we get any compensation. Nfl needs to look at the NBA for rookie salaries so they can get all the picks in camp playing at the start of camp

I'd say you have a bette idea of what Gordon can produce at this point then Ronnie. Considering the first four games will be the first four of Ronnie's career, and that Gordon is actually a pretty talented RB, I wouldn't imagine there'd be much of a drop off from Ronnie to Gordon to begin with.
 
Sammy Morris, and Travis Minor....I would go with those two for the first four games.

Ronnie will be in camp by Monday.
