Ive lived in Boise for 7 years now since moving from Tallahassee an leavin our phins...I have always laughed at the fans over the years because I was so used to living in a town with a college team in the national spotlight. I thought the WAC was a joke and made BSU look ALOT better than they really were. I thought the Georgia game 2 years ago was proof we were a LONG way away from playin with the big dawgs...I was wrong.
That said...I have to disagree with the thread starter here because Zabransky gets enough bad talk from the local BSU faithfuls here...he is nowhere near a Pro level talent. If the game was on his shoulders tonight BSU would fail...he managed the game and didnt make mistakes other than the last second INT. I highly doubt he will even be a backup on an NFL team...
PS. I have to tell you guys because I was so excited when I realized...I drank with Ian Johnson when he was a freshman!! I knew there was just somethin about him. When I checked facebook, I saw he had "mutual friends" with me...and little did I know he was roommates with one of my buddies at BSU freshman year! We had gone over to their suite once and he bought us all Southern Comfort and we watched "The Legend of the Drunken Master" with Jackie Chan..haha, he was crazy as hell back then. He drank 6 shots within probably 10 minutes of showing up an we told him to chill an he started chuggin the bottle off an on...last memory I had of him, he was passed out! lol...small world!!
