OMG this guy is a beast. I picked him up for FB after i saw his first game. He was young and he did decent his first real year. But so far this guy is doing real good. Man he is my best player on my team so far. He leads the league with a .668 average. He leads or is tied the league with 5 Home runs and 9 RBI's (that's counting today's game) if this guy keeps it up hes going to have a great year.
 
Don't expect the .668 to keep up, obviously. He's a good, solid player, though.
 
There are a lot of "one week wonders" who get hot out of the gate...we'll see if it lasts.
 
The toughest pitcher hes faced is Buehrle, and other than him, thats about it.

Who do you all think will have a better season, Hafner or Shelton?

Im in talks with someone who has Hafner and Shelton. Im trying to get shelton. I wasnt a believer at first...hes on detroit, hes faced easy pitchers...BUT when i look at him closer, he does have the guys around him, hes only 25 which means, its not like its a 2 week hotstreak, hes that good. He reminds me of Dunn. IMO: 100 R, 50 HR, 130 RBI

what does him being on detriot mean? To me the way you said it makes it seem liek detriot is KC, Det is a pretty good team, they can easily win 80-82 games htis year.
 
By Detroit i mean he doesnt have alot of support. He has pudge and ordonez, hes too far from granderson in the lineup for granderson to effect him. They're not great, they're slightly above average.

I dont mean to diss detroit...they have one of the best rotations in the league. The pitching alone can carry them to 80 wins.

Then I said, "BUT when i look at him closer, he does have the guys around him" Because I realized, Pudge and Ordonez are good enough! They're like the white sox of last year...no great hitters, just good ones that get the job done.
