That was my first impression when I read the title as well!

Maybe we could change it to Gazelle or Cheetah or whatever, lol.

When the draft gives you Clemons you make Clemonade :)
 
ive had the chance to watch him play many times at Clemson....me being a huge tigers fan.....he really is a quick player....very fast....he jumps on the ball....seen him make some sweet hits as well....i really think he has the ability to be a starter for us...
 
i will respond to this in my own Clemons thread.... because i dont much for this one or any of the other FIVE.

I LOVE that last line. When he makes an interception on the home field this year, they should flash that up on the Big Screen.

"Drink the Clemonade!"

wow that's a nice story...

i've really liked the pick so far, i wanted the fins to get their hands on a natural playmaking safety and he seems to be just that. That story just shows you he became a football player but also a strong man, living a rocky life so far, and pulled it out !
 
I like the nickname, personally. I guess it's a little too close to 'deer in headlights' but it's also unique. There's nothing unique about nicknaming a guy 'cheetah' because he's fast.

If he does end up with 'deer' then let's hope it doesn't become 'bambi' heh.
