Congratulations to Christion Jones (@jonessboyy) on signing with the @MiamiDolphins!

Oops meant to say signs

If you recall he was here last year but was injured...and released.

I like the signing for camp comp as a returner...

he's fearless explosive and looks the returner part

The team does need candidates to return kicks and punts.

Whatever we can do to reduce the wear and tear on Landry is ok with me.

Hell, I like having Landry return kicks.

I liked it when Reggie Bush was returning for us too.

Why people want to take the ball out of our playmakers hands when they're going to be in open space is beyond me.

for me i've just seen him make some mental errors, bobble kicks, etc..and he's such a lateral fighter for those extra few yards i think he leaves himself too exposed at times

Wide receiver isn’t among the Dolphins’ top needs heading into free agency, but you can never have enough depth, so they signed one anyway Wednesday.

Christion Jones, a receiver and kick returner from Alabama, is back with the team, his representatives announced Wednesday.

Jones, who spent 2015 training camp with the Dolphins before being waived/injured in the last round of cuts, will likely compete for return duties again this summer.

Jones averaged a team-best 18 yards per punt return in the preseason last year. He also caught one pass for 10 yards.

With Rishard Matthews likely to sign elsewhere in the coming days and Matt Hazel having done little to stand out in his first two years in the league, the Dolphins will certainly look for bottom-of-the-roster help at receiver in 2016.

He's dynamic at the KR/PR position to be sure. In my eyes though, given the number of touches he gets and his physical play style, if there's someone else we can put back there who can also make plays and will reduce the already over-taxed workload on Landry, I'd like to see that.

Why not bring him in for another look-see this year. If he's explosive and a threat back there, why not. While Landry is doing well right now, I'd hate for him to take a big hit while doing returns and lose him for the more important WR role. Doesn't guarantee anything other than we will evaluated him for the role in camp.

When will Miami lose its love affair with 4.6+ slot receivers?

Other teams are stocked all over the place with legit threats at WR.

Miami loves slot WRs that top-level teams LB can run with.

SMH.
