At the beginning of the off-season I really wanted Drew Brees; so I bashed C-pep. Now I feel that with daunte giving 110% for the team their is no need to bash him, but embrace him as the starting qb.

i was a big fan of brees to, but just a couple before the trade i changed my mind, b.c cullpepper had alot more upside even if he didnt play this year even tho now hes gonna which is even Better

Nice post. And I concur. When the trade talks were sooo heated, I also wanted Brees, but I felt that the trade we got, C-Pepp for a 2nd, was far and beyond anything that we could have worked out with Brees.

Now Daunte has come in and absolutely busted his A$$ getting into playing shape, giving himself and the Dolphins the best opportunity. If he gets back to where he was, this has to be considered one of the all time steals...IMO

but then as brees became available, i was pretty much on his bandwagon. I did say all along that I would be happy to see eaither. i will tell you this. i am way behind DC now.

i wanted brees more but theres no way id reverse it seeing how well culpepper is comming along. Teams fear his arm, not brees's.

I was initially leaning toward Brees too, but was still thrilled when we picked up DC. More thrilled than ever now, absolutely sure we are WAAY better off with DC than we would have been with Brees.

Sorry, but I am still bothered that we didn't pick up Drew Brees, and that will not change untill Daunte Culpepper gets more playing time on the field and begins to look comfortable with the offense. The 6-8 snaps he had against Jacksonville, he seemed nervous and over anxious. He needs to relax.
