Goldie on WQAM mentioned that he is a candidate.....anybody know anything about him....other than he QB'd Iowa way back when......

from what ? we had no QB coach in 2003 other than whatever time Norv gave :confused:

I was going to say the same thing. It would be a step, period.
 
the bigger ?? w/b if we did sign him would we go after Jason White
 
Jason White has already said he's going back to OU for a fifth year so he won't be in the draft this year. He might be there next year but, based upon his recent play, he might not even get drafted in the 2005 draft.
 
For those who dont know, chuck long was the starting QB for the Lions in the late 80's. This guy is a stand up guy. I met him at the CU game this year and he came on the radio station i worked for and talked about Whites big season and how he basically grooms his QB's.

A step up for Chuck Long...

is what I was asking.

He is already the OC of Iowa...so why would he come here to be qb coach?

Obviously it would be a step up for the Dolphins.
