I realize seeing problems for the Jets is always good for a laugh but the Dolphins have had their fair share of arrests over the last several years.

our 2nd arrested player since Rex took over, a guy who has not even been to camp w/ us makes us a circus but your division leading arrests do not? I hope if guilty the Jets release him, not a token move like Miami w/ Chad Johnson(a guy they knew couldn't play) but w/ a guy expected to get a ton of carries and be a big contributor for us. I was really looking forward to him playing for us but if guilty he doesn't deserve to wear the uniform. He can go to Buf or Miami where they have no issues w/ players that break the law.

Aaron Berry is back in the NFL.

A little more than two months after being released by the Detroit Lions, the cornerback signed a two-year deal with the New York Jets.

The Lions cut Berry after a pair of offseason arrests. The second, a simple assault charge, included an accusation that he brandished a firearm in the altercation.

In addition to being released, Berry was suspended three games by the NFL.

New York Jets draft pick Kenrick Ellis, originally scheduled to stand trial next Tuesday in Hampton, Va., for felony assault, received a continuance and was rescheduled for Nov. 28, an official from the Hampton Circuit court said Friday.

Because that would occur in the middle of the season, assuming the NFL's labor dispute is settled, Ellis' recently-hired attorney likely will request another continuance. That would push the case into next offseason at the earliest.

Ellis was indicted a month before the April draft on the charge of malicious wounding, a Class 3 felony in Virginia. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison.
