I can't seem to wrap my head around this idea that Clausen isn't one of the top QB's coming out of college....

Jimmy has more than likely the best arm in the country, and rarely makes mistakes (9 TDs no INTs so far this year), yet everyone thinks that guys like McCoy and Snead are better than him......Why?

McCoy is the next Pennington, weaker arm and a high completion pct.

Snead is overrated simply for the fact that everyone drools over the SEC.

Clausen has ALL the tools to be an unbelievable QB in the NFL.....I'm just waiting for everyone else to figure it out.

Here's to the Dolphins drafting Clausen!

Just read your comments.......nice to see I am not alone in my thinking on Clausen.
 
Hell, Sam Bradford is so good....even the backup freshman Landry Jones can throw for 336 yards and 6 touchdowns in a game...:lol:

Exactly, Clausen plays in a pro-style offense and has a cannon for an arm.

I watch ND games on a regular basis, and there isn't a throw Jimmy can't make.

Dear God, I just watched some highlights of the bowl game against Hawaii and this dude is amazing.

Seriously, I just watched those highlights again......some of his throws are breathtaking. The dude threw 50 yards off his BACK FOOT and hit the receiver in stride for a touchdown!

He throws the best deep ball for a college QB that I've seen in recent memory.
 
Another 2nd round QB for us this year??? Because I am not confident with either Henne or White as of right now to start, and I dont think Penningtion will be back. Would like to see more of Henne in a real game before the draft though. Probably why Tony said he needs to get him some real game time this year, as they are not planning on giving Penningtion an extension.

If the FO lets Penny walk and go w/ Henne then a 3rd QB is needed. Those that intrigue me are; Tony Pike (Cincinnati), Reesing (Kansas), & Ponder (Fla St).

A few yrs ago when Quinn was the focus of many man crushes, I said BQ would have a career somewhere between Montana & Rick Mirer. Given the right situation, BQ could be the next Theisman. Clausen IMO is not that good.

The same Brady Quinn that STILL can't win a starting a job in the NFL and was benched today? :lol:

Reesing is a 5'10" "system" quarterback that will never sniff an NFL roster...

What intrigues you most about Ponder? His untimely turnovers and brutal decision making against inferior competition?

Clausen had to come in INJURED off the bench with 2 minutes left and lead his team down the field to the winning touchdown against Purdue Saturday night....

Stick to looking for women in bikinis as a hobby....because evaluating quarterbacks is in another galaxy from you bro...lol
 
alot of the scouting websites i've read have clausen rated above everyone right now. i think Bradford will get taken be4 him, but McCoy, Tebow, are late first-early second rounders, and Snead is falling but still worth a top 15 pick.

Qb's a plenty next year, I like Tony Pike and Clausen alot right now. I'm hoping we don't draft a QB at all. I like our 3 QB's. Now if Henne sucks... Give me Clausen
