#Dolphins starting TE Charles Clay is listed "doubtful" with hamstring and knee injuries. He likely won't play Sunday vs. Denver.

#Dolphins backup TE Dion Sims likely will start in place of Charles Clay. CB Cortland Finnegan also is "doubtful" and not expected to play.

Clay and Finnegan doubtful for Dolphins Sunday. Colledge and Lamar Miller questionable.

Actually, I dont think so. Sims is a better blocker and you can hide him.

In fact, I would hit him early in this one to give those LB's something they dont see coming.

Tight end Julius Thomas also donned a helmet for Friday's practice, but did little and is questionable for Sunday.

"We said, 'limited,' but it was probably closer to 'did not participate,'" said Head Coach John Fox. "We'll make that decision (on whether he plays Sunday) going forward."

Thomas is joined on the "questionable" list by fellow tight end Virgil Green, who was limited all week because of a calf injury.

i doubt they replace clay with sims...hoskins will get most of those clay replacement looks...but miami probably wont be dialing up plays this week for hoskins like they would clay...and our red zone offense without clay is pretty rudderless...even with clay its not that good cause there's no go to mismatch guy...i'd say this week might be a more 4 wr sets look but that would mean more 5 man protections and there's no way this team can do that vs those edge players with our right tackle...so how exactly we gonna do it...maybe an extra olineman

better get creative lazor...between not having clay and having dallas thomas as the starting right tackle its gonna be an uphill climb

Lamar Miller expects to play Sunday despite being listed as questionable.

Lamar Miller is questionable (knee and shoulder). Daryn Colledge is also questionable but I've already told you he's going barring setback.

Miller and Colledge will play. Finnegan and Clay are very tough losses. As each day goes by, I loss more and more optimism we win this game.

It appears both #Dolphins TE Charles Clay (hamstring) and RB Lamar Miller (knee) suffered new injuries in practice this week.

Was really thinking we had a chance at an upset but it looks very doubtful now with finnegan and clay out.

agree. thought we were getting a break with the denver injuries, well it looks like those guys are playing and we're the injured ones.

Quite amazing what a few days will do -- I went from being optimistic to being just about completely pessimistic.

Going to be hard to score points especially in the red zone. Maybe we do go with the extra lineman; I hope Lazor at least considers that as an option. We sure need Clay and Finnegan back the rest of the way....not sure how many more injuries the team can sustain and still be a team with a legitimate playoff chance.

Everyone was so distracted with Denver's injuries, we are the more banged up team.

What is happening at practice that the top TE and RB get new injuries? Terrible.

It was obvious that Sanders was going to play. It sounds like Thomas is very questionable. Seems like both teams are without their top TE this week.
