No way he is there at 25.

Yeah, I think he has been on the rise big time for a while now. This will deffinitely push him up draft boards.

A positive is if he goes higher, someone will fall.

ESPN's Todd McShay reports that Clay Matthews was the most impressive of USC's top three linebackers at the Trojans' Pro Day Wednesday.
McShay says Matthews looked smooth and natural in position work, and caught the football effortlessly. He is a better pass rusher than Brian Cushing and Rey Maualuga, which could give Matthews the edge to be drafted first.

I agree he won't be there at #25. Hence I have him to the Chargers at #16.

i think 15 to houston and 16 to the chargers is the highest he can possibly go... but i realistically think he's getting picked in the 20 to 25 range to teams like the patriots, eagles and the dolphins . All three teams who love to blitz a lot and for different reasons could use/love a guy like clay matthews.

Huh. Well then. I may have to switch up Maualuga and Matthews in my mock, have the Skins take Matthews and the Chargers take Maualuga.

the bigger story. i've been following usc's trio of rivers, cushing and reyrey for years. pete carroll probably had best LB corps ever assembled. to think they could have 3 linebackers drafted in the top twenty picks a year after rivers went high is truly amazing.

Because he misfires on tackles all the time, spends a lot of time on the ground, doesn't have great athleticism, was one of the primary problems in the Oregon State loss, and has to have his teammates babysit him on the road to make sure he doesn't get into trouble?

Cushing has also been dropping down teams draft boards cause he has teams concerned with the amount of supplements he takes in order to stay in shape. Steriods have linked to him, not saying he uses him just getting linked to the kid.

Miami has yet to schedule a workout with Cushing, they while Maualaga, Matthews and Kyle Moore are all scheduled for visits. BTW CK what do you think about the possibilities of turning Moore into an OLB.

i think cushing was the best LB on the field during the OSU game last season.he outplayed both maualuga and laurenititus IMO.
