Q: I keep hearing about this whole Peyton Manning-to-Miami thing and all the other possible suitors for Peyton. But there's one factor I think people are missing -- Reggie Wayne. I think he could be a big factor regarding where Manning ends up.


A: I don't think people are forgetting it. Wayne could follow Manning to Miami or Washington. He would fit on both teams. The Colts are trying to re-sign Pierre Garcon. If they have enough money left, Wayne would be an option, but by that time he will be somewhere else. The first thing is getting Manning healthy. The Dolphins are expected to be big players for Manning if he's a free agent. Wayne would fit well along the outside. It also doesn't hurt that Wayne trains in Miami and Manning has a home there.

This is why Clayton is who he is. He makes non commital statements, and uses logic progression.

He's unspectacular, but solid, and people listen to him.
 
hell yea, id be stoked about either, but i'd be extremely happy if we had peyton. What do yall think?

Peyton may not even be able to play again. Even if he does, at what level will that be? As far as Flynn goes, if we sign him it's because the head coach thinks he has the goods. How can you argue with that??

Yeah I agree. Ideally, I'd like to have a healthy Peyton Manning, but if we end up with Flynn, it's because Philbin is confident that he can help us win. I don't think he'd risk his job if he didn't think Flynn has what it takes to make this team a serious contender.
 
Regardless who we take you still draft a quarterback, whether RGIII drops to 8 or if we trade back and get Tannehill.

Manning and Flynn both have major red flags, but I still want either one here.

RGIII will NOT be dropping to 8......I've never been more sure of anything in my life
 
So is it time to order my #18 P. Manning Dolphin's jersey???

The NFL Network has us signing P. Manning and drafting Tannehill with the 8th pick.

Hey Dre.....yeahhhhhhhhh I will be ordering a new Manning jersey, or whoever we sign!!!!! I will have to swing by Kellys. Was Doc throwing his yellow flag at the big screen this past year? =) He cracks me up. I won an orange colored Brian Urlacher jersey during the playoffs, so maybe I can trade it????
