ESPN's John Clayton says "it appears" the Browns will take either Adrian Peterson or Joe Thomas with the No. 3 overall pick.

Clayton expects Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn to go either No. 6 to a team that trades into Washington's spot or 7 to the Vikings. Of course Quinn could also go No. 1 overall to Oakland. We'll just have to wait and see.

I hope it is true.

my prayers are being answered by the big man above god is great bring miami the mighty quinn!

God I hope we dont get Quinn. Plenty of great QB's in Round 2.

i told you all along the browns would take peterson...they have too rerun/savage are on a very short leash they have to get an impact player to win now...plus frye getting quinn sends him the wrong message!

Has anyone every wondered how John Clayton became a football analyst? I mean, the guy doesn't look like he's ever played a sport in his entire life, let alone football, and yet here he is .

I like the guy, I think a lot of his stuff is pretty informative and a lot of what he says makes sense and holds weight, I just wonder every single time I see him how he got to where he is without ever playing the game, aside from maybe a little kicker or punter, and even that is iffy

majpain=major pain in the butt...you are clueless quinn is best qb in this draft those other qb's will be worthless in the nfl.

While I disagree with Majpain and hope we do take Quinn since I don't trust the 2nd rounders as much as everyone else, it's these kinds of posts that get people to pick on you man. First, you are making fun of another poster, and then you call him cluelessand every QB but Quinn worthless and yet provide no backing facts/statements/stats/evidence to that. It makes you look very immature, hence nobody taking your posts/threads serious and people poking fun at you, and your actual LEGIT threads (like the mock you made) geting 1-star ratings right off the bat.

Word of advice is to stop posting the same exact thing in every thread where Quinn, or a QB, is even mentioned (we ALL know you want Brady Quinn) and when you do post, instead of saying crap like "all the other QBs are worthless" etc, try posting info as to why you don't care for them. And use complete sentances and the proper words (like "to" instead of "too" when talking about Peterson going TO the Browns for example) and people MIGHT just pay you a little more respect around here.

Who are the great QB'S in round 2?

Edwards who can't stay healthy
Stanton- Who was injured 3 out of 4 seasons. Who only passed for more then 20 TD'S once? Has a knack for INT'S. A QB who only has excuses for his mediocre play

Who of the QB'S in round 2 have successfully run an NFL style offense in college?
Which of those QB'S got better each year?

Quinn is the real deal!!

I couldn't agree more with this. The only thing is, I have serious doubts as to whether Bryan has the ability to post his own thoughts on why he doesn't like the other QB's. That isn't an insult or slam against him or his intelligence, either. It's just an observation. I think he is so prone to homerism that he genuinely hasn't bothered to do any research of any of the other QB'sbecause he is so wrapped up in campaigning for Quinn.

As far as my own personal thoughts on the whole Brady Quinn thing: I am definitely in favor of getting him. I don't advocate giving up the farm to trade up for him, but trading a 3rd, or even the late 2nd we got for Welker if it comes to that, would be tolerable. The thing that makes this so tough is the fact that the QB has been so blatantly ignored in Miami for so long. Had Wannstedt actually drafted one besides Heupel, it wouldn't probably be such a huge issue, and I would be more in favor of waiting around to take someone in the 2nd or 3rd round. However, that obviously didn't happen, and I feel "we" can't really afford to fiddle "fudge" around with the position any more. It is high time for us to get a competent signal caller. One of the 2nd tier guys may prove to be good, but generally speaking, you are better off taking a QB higher.

If Quinn is who Mueller and Cam want, they need to get him.

I think Mr. Ohiobryan is a hoot. He's a breath of fresh air on a website, as great as it is, containing posters (like myself) who often take themselves WAY TOO SERIOUSLY.

Fair enough- you're certainly entitled to your opinion. Personally, I just don't need to see it 463 times per day.

Sometimes it can be slightly amusing, like when you are reading a heated debate between two posters about Quinn/Russell and all the sudden, right in the middle, there is one of his "Brady Quinn is God" posts, because it is so out of place. The problem I have is when he makes the threads for the same exact topics all day and night long, or when EVERY SINGLE post in other people's threads is basically the same exact phrase worded slightly differently. It just fill the boards with unecessary clutter and makes finding the meaningful, informative posts that much more difficult. Like I said, once in awhile it would be amusing, but all day long every day and it gets old.

That being said, I DID enjoy his mock (even though I knew who he had us getting in round 1 before I even clicked the thread,), and if he made more posts like that, you know, ones containing ACTUAL football/draft stuff, he might not be such a bad poster

I can only imagine how the Quinn HATERS view him, because I've been pulling for Quinn since LAST draft when he could have come out, and his posts still annoy me, so I can't even think of how nuts they drive the Quinn haters,
