6' 7" 290#, decent LT. Couldn't make the grades so declared for supplemental draft. Could be had for a later round supplemental pick. Very athletic. We should pull the trigger with a 5th rounder.

At least he has a great upper cut

290 sounds really light for an NFL Olineman.

Dolphins really need a swing tackle. Like desperately.

And he has more upside than Fox.

Question: How smart does one need to be to play OT in the NFL? Could this (poor grades) be an indication he may no be able to learn the play book?

Dont see it happening but we need help badly...

Considering the ridiculously easy classes these athletes are required to take to maintain academic eligibility, I would say the poor grades are more a sign of apathy or laziness. Neither bode well for future NFL success to be honest.

Two #NFL sources: Clemson OT Isaiah Battle likely 3rd round supplemental value. Could have pushed into top 5 at his position w/ strong 2015.

From what I was told, yes, there might be a few teams that project Isaiah Battle at guard.

Punching players, light in the pants, lazy, not very bright... These are not the words I want to hear when talking about the left tackle position.

PASS.....

There are a lot of really bad character issues from that OL that aren't hitting the media. I'd pass on the bunch for a couple of years.

Care to share, or would you rather just leave innuendo?

Does now matter, he would not be a starter this year anyway, by next year he could put on enough muscle, where he could be close or over 300 pounds. As a LT, mobility is most important, and in zone, technique is key, not power and size.

I would take a shot at him if the coaching staff feels he can one day be a starter, if they believe he is just a quality backup, then just let the draft happen, take a chance nobody will draft him, and try to bring him in as a FA afterwards.
