Cleo Lemon vs. Sage

Is there any chance that the patience that Saban has showed Gus has anything to do with giving Cleo some time to get use to the Ofense. Let's face it Saban has showed a real reluctancy to go to Sage. We know he likes Cleo and may want to give Cleo the time to gain experiance seeing mop up on the season. It makes no sense to give Sage the time if he has no chance to ever start for Saban. Maybe in practice Saban has seen enough of Sage to know he is not the qb of the future and so why give him valuable time behind the center. Cleo has a real chance to be the qb of the future. Why start Sage if he obviously is a career backup. The division this year is weak and we are hanging in there because of the other teams equally bad play, but saban knows this team with gus against the colts or steelers could get ugly. If we were to have any sucess we would need to have the good fortune of say the steelers when they got rothlesberger last year. The only qb on this team that "may" have that kind of talent is Cleo. In other words if we are going to get lucky at the qb position it will most likely be with Cleo.
 
I doubt Cleo knows the offense any kind of well yet. If a quarterback change comes soon, it's gotta be Sage.
 
Yea..I think saban will start Cleo over sage IF we get out of contention lately in the season...and let's be real, the chances of cleo being the real deal are slim,though if he is........We are in a damn great freaking shape for next year with no reasons to worry about the QB spot at FA or draft

Why does it have to be Sage? What logic is there? We have no better chance with Sage than we do with Frerotte. If we go with Cleo it's because we're not in contention anymore. otherwise, it's Gus's job.

How long have you been with the team and what position do you coach? Or are you a player?
