Would this site go in riot mode if Cleo is our 06 QB Draft Pick..

We are a draft pick short because of him. Actually, we would be picking 2 QBs in the 06 draft if we draft another QB.

What would be your reaction if we do not pick a QB in the draft?
 
Depends. Assuming we get a QB from FA or trade to actually start... then I'm ok with it.
 
I trust Saban. I have no reason not to trust him, he did GREAT this year.
 
If we don't draft a QB, that means Patrick Ramsey, Phillip Rivers, Matt Schaub, or another young, talented QB was acquired. I trust Saban.
 
I'm looking forward to seeing Cleo play in preseason. Hopfully he'll be the mobile strong armed guy he's rumored to be.
 
In all honesty, Cleo has as much potential, in my opinion, as most of the huys in the draft. Not to mention he already knows the offense. If we dont get a QB in the draft ill be fine with it, Saban knows more about all of this stuff than any of us. Put it like this, I dont care if you like Lemon or not, If Saban likes him hes a good quarterback. You can either believe we sent feeley and a draft pick for an unproven player just because we wanted to get rid of Feeley, or you can believe that we targetted Lemon and gave up what we had to give up in order to get him. I think we targetted him. I dont think its a coincidence that the kid performed amazing in the preseason, and shortly after we make a trade for him.
 
Has anyone ever seen Lemon play in order to make any kind of logical assessment?
 
The chargers fans really like him. When we first got him some phinfans and SD fans who live out in SD gave positive reviews about him on finheaven.

Riot mode, no....but there'd be a bunch of us scratching our heads about that move, especially after Saban saying that upgrading the position was a priority....on the other hand, he was more successful than nearly all of us thought he'd be this year with a career backup QB at the helm....so, if Saban thinks Lemon can do the job, I guess I'd have to go with it, however reluctantly....it would certainly not be the 'popular' choice...

Went to High school with Scaub, few years ahead actually. Anyhow I think he would be a good starter, just not on Miami. Totally 100% diff offense in Atlanta with the WC. He would have to start from square one, he is a system QB and in that system is a solid #1. Not in miami though..
