What a horribly officiated series. That's all I've got to say.

I've got the outside opinion here. I am a Heat fan who is a huge fan of both LeBron & Caron Butler, but just wow. Cleveland gets every bull**** call in the book, and the rare moments Washington drives to the basket, they get abused without a call. First of all, this shouldn't of been an elimination game for Washington because LeBron took 8 steps in FRONT of a ref who watched it a few games back, on a game winner. Washington should've been the ones up 3-2, and it would've been a whole different attitude.

Well, it's time to watch one boring *** series with Detroit/Cleveland. Probably 2-3 blowouts.

Nice to see LBJ getting some early playoff success & experience. Hey, maybe Cleveland takes 2 games at home, but will NOT have a shot at winning any games in Detroit. Detroit will dominate every home game and they have the ability to embarrass the Cavs in Cleveland. Washington would've created a lot of matchup problems, and that would've been more of a hard fought series. Look for guys like Marshall, Jones, Big Z, Gooden, Hughes (well, he was "Brick City" tonight), Flip, etc. to 100% vanish in this series, leaving LeBron all by himself.

Also, I am still waiting for the league to write a letter to the Wizards organization, basically stating how they HANDED Cleveland that game where LeBron took 8 steps in front of a ref, who clearly sat there and watched.......the shot winded up as the game winner, by the way.

Another great series ruined by the refs. :shakeno:

Lebron did get some preferential treatment but that doesnt take away the fact that Arenas choked at the charity stripe when he had a chance to ice it.

Oh please. Refs blow more than one call per game. You can't merely say Washington should have won just because the refs blew the final call of the game. What about fouls earlier in the game that went unwhistled or missed traveling calls on Washington? If you're going to take the missed call on the final play into consideration, you have to take them all into consideration.

the one washington/cleveland game I saw, LeBron got hammered on two consecutive trips up the floor with no call.

besides, most stars get preferential treatment in the NBA. it isn't exactly a well kept secret. and it isn't just Lebron.

Well if the refs are on Lebrons side as you say, then doesn't it make sense that they have a legitimate shot at the pistons, I mean, its Lebron featuring the refs, who can beat that!

Anywhoo, I think it was officiated fine. Theres a few questionable calls i can remember: that one arenes shot near the end in OT, it kinda looked like the player got him on the arm. That arenes layup near the end of regulation where that cavaleir bigman goaltended. And when lebron blocked Jeffries' shot...he got the ball, then his arm hit jeffries on the head. BUt it more like skimmed it, and that was after he blocked it.

We all know the refs make mistakes, but at the end of the day, if you play better, you win.

u say ur a fan of him but u bash him alot
Another child on this bored who reads something from me saying LeBron needs to improve a certain area of his game (defense, which he has to ability to do so obviously, and I've said that), and takes it as me "bashing" him. Incredible. You kids are ruining the quality this forum. I'm sorry if that seems harsh, but nothing bothers me more than someone twisting my words.

in the end gilbert arenas choked end of story
Okay, and what the HELL does that have to do with the game where LeBron hit the game winner after traveling, basically walking 8 steps? Every NBA analyst in the world called it.

Exactly, that was factual goaltending as well. Even more clear than LeBron's 8 steps in game 3. Game probably never even goes into OT; incredible..........

Actually, I can deny it - because every time I've downed a part of his game I went onto call him one of the three best players in the NBA. I do feel like he's the 2nd best player behind Kobe right now.

In fact, in order, my 3 favorite basketball players = Wade, Ray Allen, Caron Butler/LeBron.

I have never BASHED LeBron. I simply said he needs to play better D, just like I said Wade needs to stop turning the ball over carelessly at times. Am I bashing Wade too, my favorite player? Stop putting words into my mouth, kid. Stop making foolish posts. Please contribue or just stay out of these threads......

Yeah I agree. As a pistons fan, I'm little scared at how James gets all the calls. I think the cavs could get a game or two because of it. I say pistons in 6

sounds like someone lost some money in this series :chuckle:

You really dont like LBJ or the Cavs do you?

Because he said the truth you go out of your way to personally bash him? Why, even waste the time calling him a kid when yourself at 19 is a kid as well, your not legally labeled an adult til your 21 anyway.
