Clyde Gates has Ted Ginn Jr.-like potential on kickoff returns

Carrol (24.1 yds/r) had a better avg than Ginn last year. Gates or he will probably have a better one this year. For every TD Ginn runs, he has 20 that go no where. He was injured some last year, he will be injured this year. It could be, his kick off return against the Seahawks was a result of the infrequent practice kick returners had in preseason because of the new rules and a fluke. 23 yds/return for carreer isn't very good and that includes yesterday's game.

So would u rather a guy who consistently gets u to the 25 . . . or a guy who gets u to the 20, but then throws in a return TD 2 or 3 times a year?
