George Wilson was the 1st coach of the Fins. Before they hired Shula though who did Miami talk to and want BEFORE offering the job to Shula??

But that isn't the question. The question is who did MIami want after they fired Wilson and before they hired Shula. They talked to someone seriously about the job, who was it??

I would not have gotten this but now that you have said it, some old damaged brain cells are feeling some vague reponses. Wish I could recall it more clearly.
 
Ive' heard that name thrown around names like Joe Paterno and Bobby Bowden.
