A mixture of college and NBA players and a college coach? I get the feeling that this move will either be seen as brilliant afterwords or it will completely blow up in their face. Coach K is taking a risk here in my opinion of tarnishing his legacy but I wish him lots of luck.

I just hope K gets some good shooters on this team. Watching Team USA last year and their pathetic excuse for shooting was just ridiculous.

This should get Kobe to play at least. Maybe Shaq and him can play together? Coach K will play the younger players, something Brown did not want to do. It will be interesting to see if they give K the right to pick the team. I think thats the major problem, the NBA is just throwing 'name' guys on the team instead of building a real team.

Coach K is just use to coaching college boys not overpaid whiney NBA clowns....the right man for the job should be Greg Popovich. Ohhhh well, the
USA must love losing to Argentina, Croatia, and Lithuania.

As much as I hate K the man can coach and is a good choice although it strikes me as funny how badly he wants to be Dean. In '76 Dean coached us to the Gold after the controversy in '72 where we lost.
