How happy is this guy. He is an intense coach with a history of coaching up young o-linemen and creating very good lines. Now he has Long, Carey, Smiley and Satele can you imagine what he can do with that talent i know he is the head coach but i think this guy will have major influence with the coaching of the line. I loved the Long move you build a winning football teams from the inside out and now we have 4 pieces for a very good line as of now and a line that can be dominate here very soon.

And is is finally good to see a guy who has an intensity and fire about football holding the reigns of the team. with a good draft i would say we will pull some upsets this year we will be a team that every week you will most certainly know you had played a game. we will be far more physical and play all 60 minutes when Ronnie comes back to 100% i see us running on teams like they ran on us last year.

I think he realizes we have a long way to go, but based on the way it looks like the entire FO is working together and will not hang him out to dry on certain decisions+ the way free agency went. Im sure he is very excited, I agree it is nice to have someone as head coach that you wouldnt pick a fight with at a bar...if you know what I mean. Personally, if I saw Cam Cameron out at a bar, I would walk up to him slap him once and steal his lunch money. That aint happenin with Sparano. Good Post

Right now in these beginning stages it's all about adding big young players who are strong that can play good football. It's really that simple.

They want to lay the foundation with size and strength first. Then fill in the pieces in other years.

Even Ernest Wilford said that the Miami offseason training program is alot different than jacksonville's. He said the training in Miami is all about power strength and core strength- power cleans, heavy squats, deadlifts etc etc. He said they did not concentrate on that aspect in Jacksonville nearly as much as they are during Miami's current offseason program.

Make no mistake about it, this is what Miami is doing now. laying the foundation of great strength and power first (the addition of the big and strong Jake Long is yet another example of that besides the offseason workout program designed to build mass and strength). And they will work on the rest after the foundation is laid down.. You build a house that will last long with a strong solid foundation with solid unbreakable parts.

Guys we brought in like Reggie Torbor , Ernest Wilford, Starks, Anderson etc etc are BIG and strong.

Look for BIG bodies who are strong in the draft tomorrow. A guy like the 6'5 John Greco who's strong as a guard is another example of the type of player Miami will go after.

There will be no Flowers who is small at 5'9 or a small tight end like Keller (who is the size of a running back at 6'2) in Miami's plans (to use a couple of examples).. Miami will not draft players who are really undersized for their respective position. We are building the foundation now at this early stage with the new regime. And that foundation quite simply is players with very good size, and very good strength who can play some good ball.

The days of the Miami Dolphins football team being pushed around all over the field will be over soon.

Whats amazing is how we actually seem to have a plan, and can see progress already (on paper at least.) Special teams suckes-sign a bunch of guys to fight it out, should be instantly better. OLine sucked for years-free agent and draft-Bam, now should be solid. Next onto Dline-

It's not really amazing because most teams have a plan. It's just that we haven't had management who knew what the hell they were doing over recent history.

So it makes having a simple plan look like genius when it really isn't. It's just that we had the dumbest people in pro sports guide this team for far too long.

You're probably right. Then I am at least excited we are just behaving like a legit team again.
:)
