Watching an interview on Finsiders with Benton. On OG, which is all anyone cares about.

It is a wide open competition, and we will not be able to make decisions, with pads and contact, until likely Game #2 in preseason. It appears that no one is close to having a starting spot at this point, as it should be.

A few other tid bits from Benton.

Albert is so involved in team meatings, etc that he coupld play OG, C, and TE.

IF Albert cannot go, Fox is our LT, James is not moving from RT. Thank the Football Gods. :)

It's a blessing and curse. You keep James on right and u start a below average, mega injury prone lineman on Tannehill blindside.
That's not exactly the football gods looking out for us.

Somehow the gods will bring John Martin back to us. We are playing the Panthers in a scrimmage. He will likely impress Philbin with his manners.
I hope by putting this in print now..it jinxes the whole karma thing..

Albert will be ready for game one. I just hope we get fortunate with his health for the next season. He is a guy we really need in there doing battle and protecting Ryans blind side.

So calling an injury prone below average LT not a blessing from the gods gets a no thanks lol. We definitely have some running jokes on the board.

Martin has been a better player at every level than Fox so it wouldn't be any worse.

I know you hate everything the fins do, but everything about this is wrong

Please Fox was a decent college player, while Martin was top shelf.
Martin has least been able to start for some teams in nfl while foxpulls splinters out of his glass azz. His big achievement in nfl is being able to play in 9 games, a new record. Fox is bottom rung and glass

[Removed by Mod.] You act like I talked about an actual good dolphin player.

Okay genius if I hate everything dolphin, where is my Tannehill or landry hate. I call them as I see them, while you have nothing other than homer perspective

Why don't you actually counter the argument and tell me how glass John has been better than Martin. The only way he can start for any team is injury and that last until he is injured shortly there after.

Hey speaking of Martin is he still playing and are we not suppose to get a 7th round draft pick for the dude if he made the SF roster last year which he did. I know little about Foxs background except his time here last year and he appears injury prone during his NFL carreer. Martins sucess may have been more to due with Luck than Martin with his time in college and while I agree he may have played much more than Fox in the NFL but that may have been more to Martin being a very hight draft pick with us than his talent. Moving on Benton needs to be on his A game this year to make this OL work right now we have more questions than answers and have a terrible history at the OL postion of developing players these past 25 years.

So how come certain posters get infractions for not following tos by trying to attack me but I preface the word idiot with if and I do. There should be a more consistent moderation.
If anyone on this site believes I hate everything dolphin then they are an idiot and to even make a case for a scrub like Jason Fox is definitely the worst example of this.

Fox has started 5 games in 5 years so besides injury prone he is not that talented. It's not like he had studs keeping him from playing

you should do a better job of judging games on sundays.....fox was pretty decent when he came in and played

You might want to do a better job yourself and I'm not judging him just based on a game. Also we are talking LT, big difference.
