One team source said "everyone understands" the coaches are the issue and aren't putting the team in a position to win.

As a result of those frustrations and a host of others -- including the length and difficulty of practices -- multiple sources said the coaching staff is at risk of losing the locker room if Miami loses in London.

"We've been going out there, and practicing our (tails) off every day, but as players, we're tired of being embarrassed," said one member of the Dolphins. "If we get beat in Europe, (players) are going to throw in the towel. It isn't the players. We have all the talent in the world."

No way!

The only saving grace for this team facing the Jets might be this:

The Jets from what I can tell don't seem to be an offensive juggernaut!

ooo that quote sounds a little Cam Wakey.

always great to hear at the quarter pole the players will throw in the towel...wonderful player leadership in that lockerroom

I don't see how a win vs. the Jets is going to change anything. At this point I think the team is forced to mask all the dysfunction and put on a fake show this week for the NFL and London. It's obvious the team knows there needs to be coaching changes. Start handing out pink slips Monday morning and quit delaying the inevitable.

Coyle is likely the guy out if they lose to the Jets. Philbin, somehow, will continue to survive as head coach until later in the year.

Totally agree Hoops. The attitude of some of the players is a problem also.

At this point, it doesn't matter if they win. Quotes like this will divide the team:

It will be very difficult to recover from this now that players have gone public.

yep totally agree...the fact that the players are already talking about throwing in the towel says clean house...win or lose

i wouldnt be surprised given the way this is going if the play sunday is even worse than the bills game...like rock bottom stuff...the mojo is not good

I think the players had expectations too -- and when the coaching staff ain't getten er done -- well, folks talk.

A team is a team all the way through. The coaching can certainly improve, however...you don't want to be "embarrassed," try playing better too! Sounds like a locker room full of entitlement and no player leadership either. Everybody needs to step up in the organization. Let's see some professionalism.

I don't care WHO you are -- if you go into battle with a leader you don't trust and don't believe in -- well, its going to impact the outcome!

Stop the nonsense. Players are every bit as human as everyone else.

BNF.

yep too much entitlement and not enough player accountability "we know its the coaches" means i'm not accepting responsibility for anything...well i got news for ya some of that personnel that is playing just flat sucks...
