Forget to mention the little guy .. what an outstanding performance by him!

We HAVE to use him more, there's just been tons of success with him, and we gotta keep him in at returns!

He's absolutely huge for us on ST coverage, and hopefully now kick returning.. maybe even punt returns?
 
I agree! The man just performs....makes play after play....I posted in the Ginn and RB post about him. I am curious as to when he becomes the #2 running back. He is really quick and explosive. Great to see himon special teams getting the kickoffs. Wow, he was really good. we are set completely at running back TE and QB this next offseason...IMHO.

Yeah .. I agree with him being the #2.. if you look at the teams that have a successful runningback tandem, they have a smash RB and a dash RB.. , Ronnie is the Smash and Cobbs is the Dash .. and somewhere in there we integrate Ricky, but no one thought Cobbs would do great at returning ( well, I did, but thats not the point).. and look what happened there.. he's got the motor we need
 
He came up big with his kickoff returns. It amazing he had any success behind a special teams line that just cant seem block for Ginn.

Of course part of Cobbs success is that he is used sparingly and he usually catches the other team napping. I'm not sure he could have the same level of success with more playing time.

He's the kind of player that the Patriots make a habit of stealing from other teams. I don't know when his contract is up but I'd be very surprised if Parcell's let him go.

I think him getting let go is a 0 percent chance unless Cobbs punches him in the face or something. He's the exact type of players wants .. the guy that does all the dirty work, has a fire in him, and isn't a demanding guy
 
i was just about to start a thread about this guy. He has been so huge for us this season. Not only does he have the ability of a playmaker but he also seems to have the attitude of a winning player. I think the reason this team has been so succesful is the fact that we have so many just staright solid players that know their roles and make plays when they get a chance. i.e. fasano, martin, bess, polite, ricky, ginn.
 
I live in Lewisville Texas and watched the kid play at North Texas, he is a stud. He was looked over due to the school he played at.

The irony in what you said here, is that we actually stole him from the Patriots this time.
 
Sorry, it was not his senior year, and he was 3rd in the nation in rushing....

Pretty impressive, no matter what school it is imo. Glad to have him as a Fin. A do it all type of player who gives it his all every game. Amazing how many "no name" players we have on this team that just go out and play solid ball (Camarillo, Bess, Cobbs, Fasano, and many more)
 
I was just blown away by his speed! I know he is quick, but damn, he looked like the Flash out there!

I want my COBBS jersey!!!!
