What the hell do we do with Cog? We have a week to decide on cutting him or bringing him back and, from what I've heard, the team is split on a decision.

The team still has a playoff shot in this year's crazy parity of the NFL. With Pouncey and Cog, we can run some, and are obviously better than what we are now. That could make a difference as on paper the Jets twice, Pitt and Buff are winnable games.

Would bringing Cog back give the team an emotional boost or, divide the team? Does maybe winning a couple more games matter to Ross in this case?

What do Phans think?

He has served a suspension. Bring him back. Should he be banned for life from this sport? I do not get this...

I think the final decision comes from the owner so my prediction right or wrong, he never wears a Dolphin uniform again.

the line sems no worse without him or martin which is a testament to how neither is an impact lineman

The short term is irrelevant. This wasn't a playoff caliber team when he got suspended, and him coming back doesn't make us a playoff caliber team. The long term impact of his return is the only thing I'd consider, and given his propensity for trouble, I'd cut him. The potential downside greatly outweighs any upside.

Why are people talking playoffs? Do people really expect us to win 4 or 5 games out of 5?

True but, he does make the team better in talent on the field.

Our line has played better with all the knuckleheads out. Cut him, move on.

And people need to stop thinking we are making the playoffs. We were out of the race when we lost to Tampa.

Cog and Pouncey are the best run blockers on the team and can open some holes. IF we can run some, it does impact the O.

Actually what's hilarious is that the rest of the AFC is so bad that we actually do have a legit shot to get in. I think we have a decent shot to sweep the Jets. Geno Smith is that bad.

Sweep the Jets, beat Buffalo in Buffalo and Pittsburgh in Pitssburgh and we're likely in. Sounds easy enough but 13-20 points a game will not cut it. Yesterdays game may as well been the 2009-2012 fins as it was no different. It could have been Tony Sparano, Ronnie Brown and Chad Henne and the result would be the same. Add that to the long list of games since 2009 where we dominated a stretch big time on the field but not nearly enough where it counts, on the scoreboard. This team needs 24+ points and they'll win lots of games.

We don't score enough points, but we put up more points than Carolina is giving up on average. That Carolina defense is elite.

The problem is that we don't put up points on bad defenses.

cogs is an average at best guard that was not doing that well esp in the pass protection game lets let that drug addict go elsewhere along with Martin and his fragile azz
