Barely a surprise, yet it's all but certain now.

So, we're down 3 o-line starters from last season, when we went 7-9 for the third time in 4 years. What expectations could we possibly have, when our one constant on the line is...

Change the thread title. Cole did not say the Dolphins "will" do anything. you have 23,000 posts you know better.
 
I think it comes down to where we are as far as playoff chances - cutting him could have a VERY negative impact on the locker room based on early player comments of support.
If he is retained, after this mess I am sure someone in the locker room will tell him to chill...

Mando has been reporting this all along. Cole is sooooo connected. It is a bad move to cut him. It will have a negative impact on the team.
 
Suspended without paying seems fairer than just giving him the boot. The players support him, and he hasn't murdered anyone, stabbed his girlfriend, gotten a DUI that killed others, all things that other football players have done.
 
Cole is terrible. He said Manning would never throw again. Screwed up Andrew Luck's decision of who he picked as an agent. Ran a hit piece on Drew Rosenhaus last year...

Hate to say it, but kizzaboo was actually correct. The way your title was worded, inferred the Dolphins will part ways with Incognito, and that as a reporter Cole received that specific information, when in reality, it's just more speculation. It was basically his source shrugging and saying, it's highly unlikely it'll happen.

with the way our team plays, John Jerry and I both apparently love mcdonalds more than football.
