Ouch!!! ( On 9/15 Inside the NFL) In response to Danny's story about having to put up his OWN hurricane shutters and how much he hurt (poor baby), Chris Collinsworth response was "Only thing that would've hurt more was if you kept that Dolphin job" Dan declined comment

I hope Feeley can prove these losers wrong...:shakeno:
 
ugh, just another phin-hater... Now they're gettin to Dan! Collinsworth has signed his death warrant!

its funny how everyone is criticizing feeley without ever seeing him play. when the hawks gave up more for hasselbeck nobody in the media was this critical even though he got benched after starting.
 
I've seen Dan on that and CBS, and I so wish he'd defend the Phinz a bit more.
 
The Rams were done in 1999 when Trent Green went down. The Patriots were done in 2001 when Drew Bledsoe went down. Blah, blah, blah. These clowns have more NFL experience under their belts than years I've been alive, but I know that when a team lines up on any given Sunday, they have a chance to win.

Well, maybe he really dosen't agree with a lot of what is going on in Wanny town and dosen't want to defend what they are doing.

Just a thought.
 
Chris Collinsworth reminds me of that Frank Sinatra chicken singer guy on the old Looney Toons cartoons.

Not a good comparison at all.

Yes losing a starting QB can be detrimental to a team and cause those types of comments. A complete team like the 1999 Rams and the 2001 Patriots can overcome that type of loss however.

The Phins have question marks at every single position on the offense except WR. They have an inexperienced QB, a RB they got a week before the first game of the season and an ENTIRE OL that, whether they end up good or not, have yet to show any above avg. starting NFL talent.

You guys that have massive flame outs at these guys that report on the NFL are such a joke. Lighten up will you. Really, what on earth do you expect them to say? Really, look at our offense and without being a Phins fan tell me what you expect them to say. If they said anything but the Phins team has problems they would be a laughing stock.

I as a fan have great hopes for this team after the mid point. I hope by then the offense can gel and be a good unit. At this point however, we don't show any signs of being a good team. Quit having a heart attack every time someone reports a negative about a Phins team that right now does have more negatives than positives.

Besides, it dosen't matter what they think anyway. :shakeno:

The only reason dude has that job....is because he thrives on making inflammatory comments..that piss people off.

I agree we will be competitive.
These guys have to go with what's happening in their weekly shows though.
That's what they are paid to do. So many people on here flame out and think all these guys are "Phin haters" just because they are embellishing what really is happening. They aren't Phin haters, they are just reporting about a team in trouble like they would any team that was in trouble.

I guess that's my point. Just take it with a grain of salt and realize it's not a "Phins against the media" deal. Miami has had a lot of problems in the offseason and have a lot of question marks on the team right now so justifiably they are on our backs. When we start winning they'll be off our backs and on the bandwagon. Just the way it is.
