I definitely think its time for the fins to draft a quarterback and I think this guy out of Hawaii is the one that the fins should get. Russel and Quinn will be long gone by the time Miami picks at 9. However I think Brennan will be a better QB than both of them. If you look at this guys passer rating it is off the chart! The last time I saw a quarterback come out of a small town college was Mcnair and he did just fine. So if this kid is there when Miami picks at number 9 - I say they grab him!

Perhaps you didn't hear...Colt withdrew his name from NFL Draft consideration and is returning to school. Not an option at #9.

You can't draft players not in the draft. Well, I suppose you could, but it would be silly.

oh well , sorry about that. I didn't hear he was staying in school for another year. That sucks! I think he would of been a perfect pick for us at number 9. Maybe next year we can scoop him up!

Well maybe we can trade Ricky and Culpepper to the Raiders for their first round pick! (haha) I just want the fins to get a decent quarterback. I think they are long over due for drafting one.

I'm sure the Raiders would do that too. A crippled QB and a pot-addicted RB for the #1 overall draft pick. Sounds fair.

Even if Colt was in the draft he wouldn't be a good pick at number considering he could have been there in the 2nd round.

Next year, with Colt and Brian Brohm guaranteed to be there, as well as some other prospects, might be the year to look for the future franchise QB. I think we are just on the outside looking this year.

But next year they will be long gone when the Dolphins pick. Because in 2007 we are going to win the Super Bowl!! Let's start the chant now, "Cam, Cam, Cam. . . . . "!

dude your abit delayed arn't you

and the 3rd,4th and 5th

Despite your obvious disdain for Colt Brennan, it doesn't change the fact that he was graded as a late 1st to early 2nd rounder by most draft experts. Which makes the idea of him being available in the 5th round pretty absurd.

We getting him at #9 ?Washington Redskins told Hawaii coach they were going to pick him before us.

I really like Colt, I don’t like high draft choices, too much money $$$$$. Now we gotta target someone else, say Chris Leak, John Beck, or Kevin Kolb in the lower rounds.

Rich Miano, UH's liaison to the the NFL, said the Washington Redskins and Miami Dolphins were interested in taking Brennan in the first round of the 2007 draft.
A Miami official told Miano: "We have the ninth pick, and we'd love to take him."
A Washington official said: "We'll take him in the first round."
The Redskins have the sixth pick in the first round.
