i was just browsing a colts forum to see what their thoughts were on the whole Manning situation (where hes gonna go if released?) and it seems like they think he would do good in Miami if hes let go.

One guy said he thinks Miami could go 14-2 with a healthy Manning.

heres some other things people said....

schedule plays a factor as well. also they have a better running back and marshall is really good. also they have a better defense. they lost a lot of close games last year and they arent losing any players really. most people agree dolphins will go o-line in the draft so with that improved and peyton behind center (which helps the o-line) i can see them winning 14 games.

A healthy Peyton would make anyone a Super Bowl contender, and if he went to the 49ers they would likely be the 85 Bears with Dan Marino at QB, 19-0 lol

dude what ever team peyton goes to there going to have at least 10 wins. just saying.

think peyton with bush and marshall would be way better then 8-8. they would be a playoff team for sure. 10-6 jets twice bills twice pats once raiders titans rams seahawks jags

Arizona and Phins offer him a nice enviroment, either warm weather or dome. Arizona has Larry and you can probably add Wayne...try to cover that. they would need to improve their OL tough. and they also have a pretty good D. and another Weak Division. people remember kurt warner to larry...now imagine 18 to larry. just sick.

I'd put ahead the phins of Arizona, cause they have a good D, they have a LT, they have Marshall, bush and if they add Wayne they are set. Their priorites would probably be on draft day G/T/TE and maybe another pass rusher.

You had to go to a Colt's forum to verify Peyton Manning's greatness? Appreciate the effort but most of this has been stated on here in multiple threads.

this is going to be a looooooooooooong couple of weeks. i havent been so interesed in an offseason for sometime. i get the feeling this franchise will really go either way after the offseason.

You guys are really building up some blind hope that Peyton is going to return to his age 27-31 form when it is much more likely that he is going to be a shell of his former self with a dead arm. It's much more likely that he is going to be a 1999 Marino rather than a 27-31 aged Peyton.

Here in Indianapolis there are a lot of fans who think he will still be a Colt. The same fans who were saying "Suck for Luck" just a couple of months ago. I just want to know if he is going to be released. It's going to be a long week for that!

Regardless of whether he is 100% or 90% or 80%. As long as Peyton understands his limitations moving forward, we can land one of the greatest field generals in NFL history. By adding Peyton, and hopefully Wayne as well, we will once again be a feared team with a chance to win every game. What else can you ask for?

Well, that's the issue with a great player like Manning...will he understand his newly found limitations and accept them, or just push on like they don't exist. I love the idea of a 2009 Manning, but is that what we will get ? If not, we're back at CPep, Penny and Trent Green again...hoping that MMoore can get us thru the season. What will it to do this organization if we jump on a less than ready Manning and it doesn't pan out for us ?? Will the fan base be getting ready to fire Philbin ??

I would say fire Ireland first since its his fault we're still looking for a QB.

Honestly, I would take 2008 Chad Pennington and he'd do well with this current team. I think a not-100% Peyton will be better than a 2008 Chad Pennington. Hence, Manning to Miami has my full support.

Just a curiosity, how healthy does everyone think he was in 2010 when he threw for 4700 yards at age 33-34?

If Manning doesnt sign here, he is stupid IMO. Its primed for him. KC is more a threat to me however. they can afford everyone and the qb spot isnt solved there either. cassel can be rummaged.

almost everyone on here goes to other team's forums to see what people's imputs are about certain matters? i appreciate the effort so why open the thread "if there are so many of them"

KC has a lot of pieces in place and have a very weak division. This is coming down to $$ and I don't think location and weather matter as much as these analysts say.
