Is god awful. Part of the reason is Freeney. His stance is to far out creating holes on his side. When he gets taken out that free's up 1 O-linemen to pick up a LB or another D-linemen. Denvers Runningbacks hit the hole perfectly. I know many will disagree with me on this one but watch him play.

Good news for the pats next sunday night! Dillon and Maroney are going to have a big night. :D

you desperately need a good running show eventually. Right now you guys have an average running game and an average passing game. We'll see if you can improve that before the playoffs are upon you

There run defense will cost them any chance at a Super Bowl imo. Manning cant be expected to save them every week

Does he remind you of anyone

Pats would be dumb not to run on Freeney's side (I forget is he Left or Right?)
Mike Bell was averaging close to 10 YPC. He had big runs on Freeney's side.

i don't care how bad their defense is, if manning doesn't get pressured, he'll carve everyone up and the colts will win.

Once they get into the playoffs it will probally be the same as every year. Im going to assume they choke in the playoffs untill they prove otherwise.

IMO they get to the superbowl this year and lose to Chicago

Pretty sure they are. I do expect the first Colts loss to come in Foxboro next sunday night.

Patriots Offense - The Patriots rank 15th in total offense (324.8). They’re sixth in rushing (131.5) and 22nd in passing (193.3). Their 22.7 points a game rank 10th. The Patriots have converted 41.9 percent of their third downs, good for eighth overall.

All that has to happen for the Pats to be in the top ten over all is for the passing game which is improving to continue.

Patriots Defense - The Patriots rank 10th in overall defense (299.2). They’re stout against the run (83.8, 4th), but not quite as much against the pass (207.0, 18th). The Pats have moved up to fourth in scoring defense, allowing a miniscule 13.3 points a game.

Call those numbers what you want but after six games I'd say they are headed down the right road with a lot of season left to improve on them even further. NE is doing it the right way improving a little each week and come december we'll be hitting on all cylinders. That is when it really matters what the team plays like.

Their run D should improve with the additon of Booger McFarland

Tampa Bays run defense was pretty bad with Booger, and Booger played yesterday as Denver ran all over them.

Nobody disagrees with you.

I know this, the Colts know this, Peyton Manning knows this, Dwight Freeney knows this, oposing offensive coordinaters know this. They just don't have any other options. It is Freeney or sign a free agent DE and hope he can play worth a damn which isn't going to happen.

This is what happens when you have so many expensive players on offense.

I actually want to see Freeney play linebacker. With his speed he could make plays all over. I'm not sure if he is smart enough but if he is, he could be a Willie Williams(former Hurricane) type player.
