Colts will take Luck if they have the #1 pick, even if he has to sit behind Manning

Everyone talks about the colts getting the top pick, because they're a relevant team. Its a huge surprise they're 0-5, considering the Manning dilemma wasn't expected to carry into the season, until right before it started. ( got to sell those tickets, right? ) But they're a decent team, and with Painter playing well they'll win some games. Still you'll see JAX and TEN on the schedule twice yet, and sprinkle in a few with Cincy and Carolina. The rest is going to be tough. I think this team is going to win atleast 3-4 of the next 11 games. They have the talent to win (score points). Wayne,Garcon,Collie,Clark,Tamme,Addai,Carter with a competent line.

We on the other hand are gunna go the rest of the way with Moore and Rosenfels, Bush,Thomas.Fasano,Marshall,Hartline,Bess and horrible pass protection. As for the schedule...... if we don't beat Denver or KC in the coming weeks, we're looking at going winless into a stretch games against all contenders the rest of the way.

If the Colts do take him, how long can one have Luck ride the bench? Given his talent and the salary that he'll get, he is the type of player that needs to be out there playing the season he is drafted. In fact having him not play immediately could be a huge mistake. Those who are seeing this as similar to the situation in Green Bay seems to forget that Rodgers was not as highly touted (he was pick #24) nor was he as highly paid as Luck will be coming out of college.

if colts don't win both games against jags there should be an investigation. If manning can return but colts say they want him to rest and get better for next year cause the playoffs are out of the question then u know their jig is up. Its bulls**t

His salary won't be as high as rookie QB's in years past since they put that cap in place, no?

I don't doubt they will. They are in the midst of blatantly tanking. It's really disgusting to watch a winning franchise manipulate the system. Reminds me of the Spurs going after Duncan the year David Robinson was hurt.

Maybe if it keeps happening, but teams blow big leads in the 2nd half all the time. One occurrence doesn't warrant an investigation...

What would the investigation entail exactly? Is it against the rules to lose?

Maybe Luck pulls an Eli if that is the case.

Everyone here worries that might happen for the Fins. Maybe Luck gets pissed he needs to sit and goes back to school or demands a trade.
Luck and Manning are great friends, as a matter of fact Luck went to Peyton about the lockout situation and took Peyton's advice to stay another year. Luck might want to be the one who succeeds Manning.

Dolphins dont even know how to suck! We are in the drivers seat to get Luck but like always, we will win 5-6 games and get screwed out of the number 1 pick. In my opinion, the only way we get Luck is by trading up in the draft.

Like always? The team has won 6 games in a season just twice since 1988.

The Colts are still an annoying, hated rival to me! This just makes it bigger. I hope the Bengals have an epic collapse when they play the Colts Sunday.

I never said anything about an investigation. I was simply replying to the person who suggested they investigate IND losing that huge lead in the second half...

The only thing regarding tanking you can point to is bad coaching, but then again, is the bad coaching decision intentional, or just natural?

It is clearly intentional, whoever saw the chiefs game can tell.

The nfl should start investigating right away... A team that almost goes undefeteaded in 2009 loosing like this... Yeah right.
