Column-3 reasons why rex ryan would work as-dolphins-

I apologize officer I didn't mean to pick up that escort... run that stop sign... drop that gum wrapper,.... yada yada

Rex is a leader of men...men that have put up a 3-11 record...lol.

Gonna be a lot of talk of pushing Rex to Miami from the national media. He's fun. He's entertaining. He gives them something to talk about.

And they'd love nothing more to see his clown parade of offensive ineptitude in Miami.

Aside from the myriad of more obvious reasons why not, since one picture is worth a thousand words, here are 3 more graphic ones.

Let's hire the guy who decided he wanted Tony Sparano and then Marty Mornhinweg to run his offenses. What could possibly go wrong?

Not just national media...there are clowns in the local media that value the entertainment Rex would bring, aside from anything football related, to Miami. I just about crashed my car while listening to the Joe Rose show a couple of mornings ago when Joe asked Ira Winderman to chime in....and Winderman thought it would be a great idea for the entertainment (of course he's the Heat beat writer so what does he care about the Dolphins) and then added bring his brother down here too...that's when I lost it.

Every time I hear that lame line, I think of that awful Nickelback song (then again every song of theirs is awful) and then I think of Hayden in full pads strutting down his basement stairs into his "mancave" with that song on full blast.

So would the rest of the AFCE!

He wouldn't be my top choice. Do we ever get our top choice?

Among second tier types, he's right up there for me. Defense matters. We've played pretend defense for so long. You'll actually stop some of those late drives with an aggressive mentality. This guy won a playoff game at New England a few weeks after the Jets looked like a Division III school in the same building.

And yes, entertainment also matters. I'm convinced we won't win anything significant in this stadium so I might as well be amused, and uncertain what our coach will say. Marvelous.

Not difficult to guess that we'd also receive more primetime games with Rex Ryan as coach.

Other than Harbaugh my top pick would be someone very young. I may be into my 50s but I'm not biased in favor of my contemporaries. Hardly. Highest upside is with a brilliant 30-something who nobody has taken a chance on yet.

i dont much care about rex record...he's getting fired cause he could never get a qb...that's it...he's on my list for consideration and i think we could do a lot worse
