Come Back Player Of The Year????

Joey Porter for come back player of the year....I really dont see anyone having a great season this year,that had a mediocore season last year...I think if he can lead the league in sacks,or be one of the leaders,by seasons end,theres no reason for him not be come back player of the year,not to mention DPOY of the year....Line-Backer of the year is a strong possiblity as well

The comeback player of the year award usually goes to guys that recover from injury, so I would say that Ronnie Brown has a better shot than Joey Porter.

That said, Porter is a front runner for defensive player of the year.

thats true,but Ronnie is barely on pace for 1000 yards for the year(like 1006 projected right now)..Thats just too low to be in the Pro Bowl,while Joey Porter(incase you forgot or didnt know,WAS injured most of last year) is Pro Bowl bound,DPOY bound and comeback player of the year bound....

Rick is solid,but not recognizable enough for the award...only like 2-3 TD's on the season...if he had like 5 or 6 I could se eit,but his yardage and overall stats...just arent good enough

that award normally goes to a guy who spent the previous season injured... Joey doesnt really qualify. The only candidate we have that could take that award is Ricky... Possibly Ronnie although he may have played too many games last year... MAybe Chad for the same reason as Ronnie

Its gotta be Porter or Pennington. However, if Porter wins DPOY, then you would almost have to give the other award to Pennington. Just because giving comeback player of the year to a guy who wins DPOY is overkill.
