Come on guys, don't lose hope

Come on guys. Stop living for the season every single game. Enjoy them as they come or you'll just be angry and depressed most of the time.

There are two positive ways to look at this:

(1) We are growing by leaps and bounds. In every way we are better than we were last year. The key is, we are still improving. I sure as hell don't agree with some of the coaching calls last week, but you know what, Sparano is ALSO a rookie. Cut him some slack, he'll learn from his 'mistakes' of last week. The key is, we are improving and there is no end in sight.

(2) If you really NEED to have this season--I know I do. Please look at how weak the AFC is. We are 2-3, only 1 game behind in the 'wild-card' race. If we had won on Sunday we would be tied with like 4 teams for a WC spot. What the tells me is that we are still in the hunt. Are playoffs likely? No. However we are not out of it by a long shot yet. As long as we stay near .500 all season all it takes is one 3 game streak at the end of the season to pull off a probably play-off worthy 9-7 record. So keep your hopes up.


I am happy that we are realistically only two plays away from being a 4-1 team. I am hopeful that we can beat Baltimore. If we can then upset the Bills, the season will be looking good.

Keep your chin up guys, we're Dolfans, remember, we're here for the good and bad. We're not no stinking Yankee or Patsy fans that only show up for the good, we're here, loving the Phins throught it all!

great post. i totally agree. everyone knew we would go through growing pains. i'm just happy we're seeing noticeable progress by our team. except for the Cardinals game, we had a chance to win every other game. how many times did that happen last year?
that's encouraging.

We lost and that kills me but it was a whopper of a ballgame. Our team is really fun to watch as opposed to last year when we sucked and were boring to watch. One thing of note: they were tough to run on and that was the biggest problem facing our ball control offense. They have some very high draft picks up front like Mario Williams, Amobi Okoye and DeMarco Ryans. We faced alot. of second and longs and we were brutle at converting 3rd downs. On the other hand who was that guy wearing Patrick Cobbs jersey. WOW!!!!! Was he unreal. The flea-flicker was awesome. A thing of beauty. I really thought we were going to win the game but we had a tough time running and our defense had a pretty bad day especially against the pass where Andre Johnson carved us up for a franchise high 178 yards. Special teams continues to struggle and one wonders why Ted Ginn isn't back there. Would he have made a difference?

Everyone was praising our whole defense last game... I don't think they are really as good as they were during the Pats game, but they aren't as bad as they looked during the Texans game.... this is why you play the game.
